Function

The Customer Services team is currently looking for a Co-worker Customer Contact. The Customer Services team offers a quality service to our customers, usually by telephone or e-mail, as we are primarily a remote bank. The Customer Services team is based in Brussels.

As a Co-worker Customer Contact you will be part of a team of 7 colleagues who are responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing customer contacts as part of their commercial relationship management.

The Practice Leader distributes the various operational objectives on a daily basis and tries to offer to each Co-worker Customer Contact maximum versatility and variety in their work.

You will carry out and be responsible for the following operational and commercial tasks:

  • As the first point of contact, you will provide a quality service to our private and professional customers in relation to their banking products, in particular payment and savings products and investments.
  • You will inform customers and/or prospects of Triodos Banks position and unique approach.
  • You will answer all incoming questions from our customers via the various contact channels.
  • In this capacity, you will be responsible for listening to customers needs and ensuring that they get the products and services they want on time.
  • You will sell our banking products.
  • You will be responsible for the administrative follow-up of our private and business customers files.
  • You will contact customers and prospective customers by telephone to provide them with the information they need, to help them become a Triodos customer or to arrange a (telephone) meeting.
Profile
  • You have a bachelor degree and ideally a master degree.
  • You have a first experience in a customer service in the financial sector.
  • You have feeling with financial products and the banking business.
  • You are customer oriented, you have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a team.
  • You like to be in contact with customers and prospects by phone, by mail and face to face. You are able to detect commercial opportunities and explain the basic information to the customer for all products.
  • You work together with colleagues from the other practices
  • You have a very good command of Dutch, both oral and written. You can also express yourself fluently in French, and you are willing to improve on this. A certain knowledge of English is also a plus.
  • You are willing to work a mixed schedule of 37h/per week with fixed and variable hours between 8h and 18h, according to the needs. The Customer Services team organizes daily telephone permanence between 9am and 5pm.
  • You are proactive, innovative and collaborative.
  • You fully identify with the field in which Triodos Bank operates: the transition to a sustainable economy.
