Working conditions

Permanent contract (portage) with daily travels within Belgium, more precisely in the Flanders region, and occasional travel to Lyon or Lille.

The Role

You will be part of the Belgium Veterinary function and will join a passionate field team as Team Lead, Veterinary Accounts Management.

You will report to the Head of B2B France and Belgium.

After an induction period and comprehensive training at our Headquarters and in the field, you will manage a team of 2 veterinary affairs representatives and look after certain parts of the Flanders region.

Your Mission?

• Manage and motivate your team on a daily basis and coordinate Santévets activity and development in the country.

• Spot potential clients and partners, arrange appointments and clinic visits in your area to promote our products and digital tools.

• Analyze key market trends and monitor competition to share information to your stakeholders through reports.

• Ensure close relationships with the key players and decision makers in Belgium

• Actively strengthen partnerships with Corporate Clinics

• Develop strategic alliances with our B2B customers.

• Participate in various events aimed at our prescribers,

• Lead educational events about animal health insurance,

• Leading cross-functional projects within the Veterinary Affairs Department, with a view to continuously improving our offer, positioning and tools, in collaboration with your manager and key partners.

• Participate to transversal projects as needed to bring and share your expertise.

Your background

Preferably, you hold a Veterinary or Commercial Degree You have at least 5 years field experience in a similar position and/or successful B2B sales experience You are familiar with the petfood, garden centers, agri-food, shelters, animal health or human health sectors.

Managerial experience is highly desirable to ensure your teams development.

You know how to create long lasting relationships and trust with our veterinary prescribers You demonstrate active listening skills, empathy you are rigorous and have a good level of general culture You enjoy challenges and are results oriented.

You are at ease with digital and office tools. You speak fluent Flemish and French; English would be a plus.
