The function

As Product lead for Barco Cinema, you have the End-to-End responsibility for the entire product & services portfolio throughout the full lifecycle. You define product & services innovations based on a deep understanding of the customer needs. You align with key stakeholders to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

You are a member of the global Product & Market management team of the Cinema BU and reports to the Vice President Strategy, Product & Market of the Cinema BU. You lead a diverse team of highly qualified product managers and product specialists.

Key responsibilities

To be successful, an exceptional candidate will need strong leadership and product management experience in a matrix environment and the passion for results. You must maintain an active and leading role in:
1. Strategy definition, including owning & driving the strategic product & services roadmap and requirements for the BU, based on customer needs, product/technical insights and market trends.
2. Product & services roadmap execution, including responsibility for the launch of new products by playing an integrator role and partner with a wide variety of functional domains such as sales, engineering, product owners to define the product/solution requirements, user needs and market opportunities.
3. Product lifecycle management, by owning and managing the end-to-end lifecycle of products/solutions, measuring the customer experience, and supporting initiatives for services revenue growth.
4. Leading, developing and coaching an effective Product Management and Product Specialist Team


Who are we looking for?

• Master’s /MBA degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in product management and product lifecycle management.
• Minimum of 5 years leading a team.
• Must have a strong technical skill set in or know-how of a similar industry or technology.
• Experience working in a matrix organization.
• Experience working in a product-driven organization and working on the intersection of hardware, software & services.
