Context

Scope 3 emissions represent more than 70% of bpostgroup’s overall carbon footprint. Majority of scope 3 emissions is generated by our suppliers. bpostgroup has an SBTi validated target on scope 1&2 and has committed on scope 3 to reduce carbon emissions. You can help us realizing our carbon ambitions in scope 3.

We are improving the footprint assessment of Scope 3 emissions generated by our suppliers. We’ll achieve this by integrating more specific supplier data into the reporting.

Your Mission

As a Project manager data and performance you will be tasked to streamline, model and manage gathered scope 3 data and visualize these insights effectively. Moreover, you will contribute to the identification and implementation of the technology solutions that are required in the data collection and delivery of accurate, complete, consistent, and auditable data and views on Scope 3.

You will be part of the Center of Excellence in Procurement and get the support and mentoring you need to succeed In your role, you will be able to liaise with many stakeholders on all levels in the bpostgroup organization - as procurement has a pivotal role in achieving these sustainability goals.

You have experience as a data analyst, information architect, or similar role. You have robust analytical skills and a passion for technology, and a curious mind. You are able to effectively converse with our IT colleagues. Experience in Sustainability is not a must.

Tasks

In your role you will :

• Assist in identifying and implementing the right tools for data collection, analysis and presentation.
• Evaluate existing carbon collection, calculation tools for potential integration with current solutions or support the development of new in-house solutions as needed to monitor progress in scope 3 emissions in Purchased goods and services and Transport.
• Create dashboards using appropriate tools to present and visualize scope 3 data in an easy understandable format which allows to communicate progress and supports the decision-making in S2P and bpostgroup.
• Support the implementation of an internal control system and validation on collected and reported supplier data.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (ICT, ESG strategy, procurement) to assess and address the unique challenges and needs of data management, carbon calculation and reporting in scope 3 emissions.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate has:

• A master degree or similar through experience
• a first working experience and strong affinity with data modelling, reporting or dashboarding
• strong analytical skills with the ability to model and analyze data
• the ability to interpret and visualize data into actionable insights.
• any experience in Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Sievo, PowerApps, or other modelling or visualisation tools
• great communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders
• the ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Fluency in written and spoken English
