POSITION SUMMARY As HR Director, you will act as the Strategic Business Partner to the Country Manager and leadership team, to develop and implement the people plan for the region. You will lead the delivery of HR services to all AXA Partners employees based in Benelux & Nordics, working in collaboration with AXA entities providing in country services. You will manage the HR and Communications team for the geography and lead social relations and relationship with Unions representation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide HR & Communication leadership for Region As a business partner, you will work closely with the Country Manager and Leadership team to understand and implement the business strategy, collaborating with Global HRBPs to align HR plans with business priorities. You will also serve as an executive committee member for Benelux, participating in decisions regarding business and people strategy. Additionally, you will lead HR services provision and transformation activities within the region, acting as an Account Manager for HR services to ensure they meet customer needs. Furthermore, you will drive the countrys contribution to HR community and oversee the implementation of key HR projects and communication within the region, ensuring coordination with the Central AXA Partners Communication team. People/ Workforce Strategy You will provide advice and support to the Country Manager on senior people topics, supporting the development and design of the organizational structure. You will work with the business leadership team and Global HRBPs to anticipate and proactively translate business needs into the workforce strategy, drawing upon business acumen and external market knowledge to improve business-wide performance and innovative HR practices. Additionally, you will develop organization strategies by identifying human resources issues and contribute to organizational strategic thinking and direction, as well as design succession plans in collaboration with the Country Manager for key talent and Executive positions as part of AXA’s Organizational Talent Review process. Capability building You will provide coaching and challenge to the Country Manager and leadership team. You will promote interactions within HR team to influence & align AXA people management practices. You will build HR and Organisational capability . Brand Ambassador You will speak about the AXA employee value proposition and culture within and outside the company through media and social media, is an ambassador for AXA and drives the social strategy for the business. You will monitor markets constantly and updates job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organisations as an AXA ambassador and to source cutting edge practices. Social Relations You will account for geographical social and employee relations as part of a strategic engagement agenda. You will animates on a monthly basis the 3 social bodies of Belgium (Work Council, Union Delegation and Health & Safety). You will account for a social agenda protecting business continuity and compliance standards. Building & Physical security You will account for physical security standards deployment. You will ensure space and optimization is well performed to sustain a top workplace environment. You will be accountable for fleet administration with corresponding team and part of the crisis cell leading roles. Team Leadership You will establish and manage the HR team structure to support business objectives and provide leadership and guidance to ensure high performance and achievement of KPIs. Additionally, you will support the development of key HR and non-HR executives through ongoing training and mentoring. Company Culture and Talent Management You will build and cascade the company culture, ensuring high levels of retention and engagement while representing AXA as a preferred employer. You will be accountable for talent management strategy, learning and development programs, and the annual OTR process. Additionally, you will oversee the implementation of performance management and ensure the right culture in terms of risk and compliance aligns with group standards. Your Profile SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE You hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in business management with a specialisation in HR/organization behavior/development. Having worked in the insurance or financial services sector, you have significant HR leadership experience, especially in a multinational context, and possess excellent strategic HR business partnering skills. You are collaborative and engaging with a talent for driving change and performance, and have a demonstrated track record of exceeding established goals consistently. Additionally, you understand and communicate complex business, legal, regulatory, and technical issues clearly to multiple stakeholders. You are adept at building effective internal relationships with senior business and HR leaders in a highly matrixed environment, earning respect and trust, and building consensus around HR strategy and service delivery. Furthermore, you have strong leadership and people development skills and a strong understanding of local Belgian employment legislation and market, with fluency in French and English and a preference for Flemish
