Your mission

The primary purpose of the ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) Project Manager role is to oversee and implement ESG projects within the technology department, ensuring alignment with the companys overall ESG objectives and addressing technology-specific challenges and opportunities. This role is essential for ensuring the companys commitment to sustainability, social responsibility, and ethical governance in its technological endeavors.

As ESG Project Manager, you:

  • Develop and implement tailored ESG project plans for the technology division, ensuring alignment with company-wide goals and regulations.
  • Foster innovation in ESG practices, collaborating across departments to drive company-wide sustainability objectives.
  • Engage with stakeholders to promote ESG awareness and provide guidance on sustainability initiatives.
  • Oversee data collection and analysis to monitor project specific ESG performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct assessments to identify ESG risks and opportunities within projects, collaborating with teams to integrate sustainability considerations.
  • Monitor and report on ESG performance metrics internally and externally, staying informed about emerging trends and regulations.

Specific training & experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of Environmental, Social, and Governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with relevant ESG standards and reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).
  • Understanding of technologys role in addressing ESG challenges and opportunities.
  • Experience in integrating ESG considerations into business strategies and operations.

Your profile

  • Masters degree in a relevant field (environmental management, sustainability, business, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of ESG principles, frameworks, and reporting standards.
  • Proven track record of driving operational initiatives and achieving measurable results.
  • A dedication to sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in ESG management, sustainability, corporate responsibility, or related fields.
  • Experience working in the telecommunication industry is advantageous.
  • Additional certifications or training in ESG-related disciplines is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across different levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize ESG risks and opportunities.
  • Fluency in French/English or Dutch/English required.
