Junior Corporate Finance Analyst

You will join the Corporate Finance department, part of the Group Finance Division, and specifically the CFO Office. Our Corporate Finance department provides financial advice to senior management, the board and other group divisions on specific matters including capital management and funding, cash and investments, financial performance, etc. The department also maintains a close relationship with external customers such as rating agencies, group regulators and external auditors.

The Corporate Finance department is an outstanding place where you can gain a 360° view on the Euroclear group bringing several aspects together such business understanding, finance skills, governance principles, risk related matters, etc.

Located in Brussels, you will have a wide role, covering:

• Treasury management : monitor the group treasury management (mainly consisting of treasury funds and term deposits at group level), consisting of performance reportings to the different group entities participating to the fund, managing in- and outflows, reviewing compliance with investment policy, etc. You will be in close contact with external providers and internal collaborators (local CFOs, Risk Management, Cash management).
• Group funding and capital management : You will actively participate to the funding and capital management of the group, including interactions with Risk Management.
• Financial analysis : perform a broad range of financial reviews, including suppliers risk assessments, goodwill impairment testing, investor presentations and contribution to financial documents, peer group analysis, etc.
• Group financial reporting : contribute to financial reporting of specific entities of the group, preparing monthly reporting and Board presentations.
• Ad hoc projects : contribute to a wide range of projects allowing you to further develop in your role.

• A university master degree or equivalent. You have maximum 2 years of experience in audit, financial consulting, credit analysis, etc. No experience is required.
• You can demonstrate sound financial knowledge, including corporate finance topics. You are analytical and able to meet short deadlines.
• You are a great teammate while able to work independently and seek mentorship when needed. Able to develop good business relationships with people in and outside the division.
• You are keen to learn and expand your area of expertise.
• Able to pass complex messages, structure ideas and identify critical factors in the decision making process. You can demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills.
• You have good command of Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
• You have a good level of English (spoken and written).
